Rebranding
As part of their visual identity update, DDR commissioned Wackymoo to carry out a complete logo redesign, aiming to modernize their image, improve legibility, and present a more professional, contemporary, and versatile brand.
Logo Evolution
The original DDR logo featured a green gradient with a black outline, serif typography in the descriptor, and a visually heavy layout. While it captured the brand’s energy, it lacked scalability and consistency across digital and print platforms. The redesigned version preserves the core identity but introduces a custom geometric typeface that adds clarity and dynamism.
The green color was refreshed into a flat, vibrant tone to convey modernity, sustainability, and innovation. The black outline was removed, spacing refined, and the serif descriptor replaced with a clean sans-serif font for better readability and contrast. The result is a more cohesive, professional, and versatile brand identity—faithful to its roots but equipped for a more competitive, visually-driven future.
Logo Construction
DDR logo is a result of a rigorous geometric construction process, rooted in clarity, balance, and brand essence. The identity was designed using a modular grid and golden-ratio-inspired circles, creating a harmonious interplay of form and function.
Each letter was crafted with precision, emphasizing the brand’s core values: cohesion, collaboration, and forward-thinking design. The repeated use of circular structures reinforces unity, while the angled cuts inject dynamism and motion, signaling progress and innovation.
Typography & Color System
The DDR logo features custom geometric lettering designed for impact and clarity. Its bold structure and sharp angles convey innovation and strength. To complement the logo, we use Maven Pro – a modern, rounded sans-serif ideal for digital and editorial use.
